Assistant Trainer of Houdini farms

Kelly Jones Dervis, Has been riding and competitively showing horses for over 20 years.  Throughout her junior years, Kelly rode with Cindy McCullough and her team at Blackburn Farm in Sewickley, PA.  During her Junior years, Kelly went onto to multiple championships at shows such as Andrews School, Ridgewood and Chagrin Valley Hunter/Jumper Classic to name a few.

As Kelly transitioned into an Amateur, her success continued to grow with multiple accolades throughout the east coast.  She went onto winning Horse of the Year in the 3'6" Amateur Owner Hunter 18-35 for Zone II three years in a row with her partner, O So Soxy.

After having a successful career in Pennsylvania, Kelly moved to Wellington Florida, where she went onto being a Riding intern for Bainbridge Farm and Little Brook Farm.  Under the guidance of Gary Duffy, Kelly helped break and develop young horses for customer's including prepping and showing horses.

Kelly went onto becoming the head trainer at Ponies and Palms Show Stables in Boca Raton from 2014-2016 and Palm Beach Riding Academy in Wellington where she brought along all levels of riders from the local to national circuit.  

​

Since moving back home, Kelly assisted her former trainer, Cindy McCullough at Blackburn where she helped multiple riders to top accolades at shows such as World Equestrian Center, Brave-Horse, and State College.

Students of Kelly's have gone onto qualifying for all Major finals and winning year end accolades including:
